Hello.

My name is Bronwen, and I'm Registered Clinical Counsellor with 19 years experience supporting children, youth and families. I began supporting young people and their caregivers while employed by two different non-profit, community based, organizations in 2003 and continued working as a child, youth and family outreach worker, supporting diverse populations, until 2014. I then became employed as a clinical counsellor with Child and Youth Mental Health Services and I now offer counselling services through my private practice. (Click here for additional details regarding education and ongoing development).

My husband and I moved from Victoria, BC to the Cowichan Valley in 2010, to be closer to the rivers, lakes, and mountains and with the plan to raise a family.  We now have two daughters, and spend much of our time outside. I am grateful to live on land immersed in nature and to be able to offer in person and virtual counselling services to clients from my home office.

have a deep appreciation for the innate wisdom of the human body, the power of attuned connection, the beauty and wonder of the natural world, and the healing qualities of play and expressive therapy. These values are evident in my personal and professional life and contribute to the holistic, person-centered support I offer clients.

I believe that each of us, big and small, have inherent inner strength and expertise that supports us to heal and grow. With a commitment to compassion, I support young people and their caregivers to understand their struggles, uncover their resources, identify their needs, connect with their authentic selves and move towards their goals.

" There is a moon inside every human being. Learn to be companions with it." - Rumi
